Thanks for the overview of The Witcher. The trailers for the Netflix series failed to capture my interest, and I’ve had little desire to read the books since I learned enough about Geralt to see him as a knock-off of Moorcock’s Elric. But I’m intrigued by your praise of the video game. Perhaps that’s the sweet spot for me. :)
