So much to think about.

You might consider core values as your true identity. Can you narrow down your values to two core values that really define your motivations to identify with any particular group? Are you a Cowboys fan because you value your connection with your dad and he was a Cowboys fan? Or do you value adventure so much that you took to mountaineering to fulfill that need in your life?

The idea of "two core values" comes from Brené Brown.

Frodo Baggins valued relationships and living a simple life. It defined his character and motivated his actions. Many hobbits value safety or security. Bilbo came to value adventure more.

I love stories with conflicts of identity, & I also hate it when TV show writers leave the internal conflict offscreen to emphasize the big explosion moments only.
